Professional Measuring

We had our professional measuring this morning and ran into three issues. Not sure their impact at this point.

  1. We have a bow in one of our walls which will make the cabinets not be straight - how to fix it? Take the paneling down and replace the stud, and with drywall, or carefully remove the paneling and remove the stud, and put a new stud in.
  2. Our new cabinets/back splash won't necessarily fit in the same spots as our old cabinets. We'll just have plywood. So we need to find paneling that matches, or remove it and drywall around it.
  3. To get our kitchen to code we will need more electrical circuits, and the ceiling below the kitchen is finished. So that means taking part of it down, running the wires, and then fixing the ceiling.
None of this is awful, but it back to the drawing board with our budget, and time to brush up on our home improvement skills.... Any ideas on how I can make some more money?
